The Litchfield volleyball team opened its 2008 season with a 25-12, 25-22, 25-12 nonconference victory over Buffalo Aug. 26 at Litchfield High School.

Litchfield (1-0) takes on St. Cloud Cathedral at 7 p.m. Aug. 28 at LHS.

St. Cloud Cathedral was the Class AA state runner-up in 2007.
