The Litchfield girls tennis team scored eight points, earning a sixth-place showing at the Pine City Invitational Aug. 18.

Mounds Park Academy won the eight-team event with 33 points. Bemidji, Blake, Staples-Motley and Rochester Lourdes also finished ahead of the Dragons.

Singles players Chelsie McGraw, Brenna Johnson and Kristen Solbrack went 1-2 for Litchfield but did not place.

Brittany Berning went 1-0 at No. 3 singles and won a No. 3 doubles match with Marin Haugo.
