Experience Watkins like never before at Kraut and Wurst Day, Aug. 1-2.

Events start Friday evening with the Little Miss Watkins pageant at 7:30 p.m. in the park. The cow drop follows at 9 p.m.

Saturday is full of activities, beginning early in the morning with a volleyball tournament. The parade is at 10:30 a.m. A kids’ fest run from noon to 4 p.m.

Also, Saturday are hot air balloon rides, a kids’ pedal tractor pull, petting zoo, bean bag tournament and car show. Firemen’s waterball fight also Saturday.

Live music by Rox Box at 9 p.m. will round up the weekend’s festivities.
