Gas prices are on the rise again here in Litchfield, going up to $3.83 a gallon yesterday. With the dollar weakening and supply dropping, the cost of a gallon of gas looks like it will hit the $4 mark shortly.
The summer driving season kicking off this weekend, and I know I will be cutting back. Plans to travel to Chicago and Medora, N.D., will likely be scraped for something a bit closer to home. I've cut back non work-related driving and now set my cruise to 55 mph on the highways, trying to get the best mileage for my buck.
