Twins General Manager Terry Ryan stepped down today after 13 years in that role. Ryan will officially hand over the reigns of Twins to new GM Bill Smith Oct. 1. Ryan, who helped make the Twins a contending team with his shrewd personnel moves, will remain with the club as a senior adviser and focus his time on scouting.
