The Litchfield girls tennis team improved to 4-4 overall with a 5-2 nonconference victory Aug. 27 at New London-Spicer.

Litchfield's win came two days after a 2-1 showing during the Litchfield Invitational Aug. 25.

The Dragons lost 7-0 to Elk River and defeated Willmar and Pine City in their three matches.

Litchfield returns to action when it plays host to Glencoe-Silver Lake at 4:15 p.m. Sept. 2.
