A 48-year-old Dassel man was killed in early Saturday rollover in Annandale.

Richard J. Salim was traveling south on Minnesota Highway 24 at 1:38 a.m. Saturday when he lost control of his 2002 Honda Road Start motorcycle at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 55, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Salim was ejected from the motorcycle.

Salim was believed to be traveling at high rate of speed and not wearing a helmet, according to the State Patrol. Alcohol was also detected in his system, the State Patrol reports.
