A chilly night under the Friday night lights

The Litchfield Dragons will battle the Annandale Cardinals tonight in the annual Homecoming football game. Dress warm if you’re heading out to the field. Temperatures today will only reach the low 50s and tonight mid-30s are predicted.

The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Saturday throughout central Minnesota, so cover your plants before you leave for the game.

Pre-game festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a pep rally featuring the Litchfield Marching Dragons at 6 p.m. The 2007 football team will be introduced as fans get ready for the big game. Kick off is 7 p.m.
