Filing for the November election came to a close Tuesday, and few candidates filed for open for open School Board seats.

The Litchfield School District had four filings for three open school board positions. Incumbents Stacey Helstrom, Karla Rick and Brian Park, as well as newcomer John W. Mueller, filed affidavits of candidacy.

The three openings are four-year terms.

Four people filed for four open seats on the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City School Board. Joel Gratz, Jeanna Lilleberg and Judy Raske filed for the board’s three four-year terms. Gratz and Raske are current board members. Dale Hoerchler filed for the board’s two-year term.

Incumbents Kathy Mahn and Rick Nordin did not file for re-election.
