A crew used three video cameras and a laptop computer to produce a live broadcast of Litchfield's wrestling meet Friday for Litchfield High School wrestling coach Capt Chip Rankin, who is currently serving in Iraq with the Minnesota National Guard.

Litchfield falls in state semifinals

Litchfield built a 12-0 lead but could not hold off Glencoe-Silver Lake in the State Class AAA semifinals Thursday at Metrodome in Minneapolis.

Glencoe-Silver Lake scored 20 second-half points on its way to a 27-20 win over the Dragons. Glencoe-Silver Lake, 12-1, will play in the state championship game Friday, Nov. 24 at Metrodome.

Big send-off

Litchfield High School football players received a noisy send-off this morning as they left the school to play in the State Class AAA semi-finals at the Metrodome in Minneapolis.
