They are not saving your home just advice on not paying anything out. They advise people to pocket everything they can for the time they are evicted. When asked last they admitted they had actually helped only one person with altered payments. It is just another example of "we are here to help you" and get people's hopes up. The realty is quite different.

cml3165, sorry I have to disagree. they helped my friend when her husband decided he did not want hier house any more. Not even telling her he stopped paying the mortgage she went to heartland and they helped her. they made partial payments and she did what she could to save her house but the bank would only take them for so long. Yes she lost her house but not from the lack of help... she got alot of help from heartland and they do help alot. Do you know of the coats they provided for low income families with kids? Or the fact that they help families with christmas? Heartland does alot.
Heather in litchfield and her co workers do a heck of alot! I only have the best to say about them.

Heartland does do a fantastic job helping people with many needs. I did not say thay did not help. I only said they can not save the house. Your story here reinforces that they can not save your home. Only lots of money and a lender can save your home. Heartland does not have the funds to save homes and lenders do not have the incentive to do so.
