The 2008 Concerts in Central Park performances will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. most Thursdays in the summer in the Bandstand.
The ninth annual Meeker County Relay For Life will be from noon to midnight June 20.
Events will start at noon with a possible lunch meal. A Youth Zone will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Friday afternoon.
Opening ceremonies will still be at 7 p.m. with the Survivor’s Lap and performance by the Litchfield Marching Band. Entertainment will continue in the evening through the Luminaria Ceremony at dusk. Events wrap up with a closing ceremony at midnight.

Saturday will be another fun-filled day with a 5K run/walk, car show, craft fair, bake sale, and treasure hunt among other things that morning. An antique tractor drive to Manannah starts at 2 p.m.
The day will end with the Grand Parade at 7 p.m.

It starts a little earlier on July 7, when the search for the medallion officially begins with clues available at the Independent Review and KLFD AM 1410. The winner will receive $200 if he or she has a 2008 Watercade button, $100 if not.
