The boy was not OK he had to

The boy was not OK he had to go to the hospital. A word to drivers "You can not ask a person who has been injured if they are OK especially a child. They will automatically say yes out of fear, embarrassment or shock." He has many abrasions, his chest needs to be taped and he has some muscle pain. He will be OK in time but needed attention on the spot. This driver was probably also in a bit of denial and out of fear or embarrassment left with out actually looking at the child. One tip off should have been all the blood.

So it worries me that no effort was put into finding the driver. How will this person know that it is not acceptable to hit someone and leave. So if anyone knows who the driver is please pass on to them that this boy should have been cared for. His parents should have been contacted so they could have at least came home and taken him to the doctor, instead he had to make it into the house alone and then realize he was hurt and needed help.

Concerned grand mother

Update: This man was

Update: This man was incorrectly identified in a LPD news release as a Litchfield resident. He actually has a Hutchinson address and was charged in Meeker County District Court Feb. 8 with fleeing a peace officer, domestic assault and driving while intoxicated. The fleeing a peace officer is a felony charge; the other two are misdemeanors.

So how about the Meeker Co

So how about the Meeker Co SO, Litch PD, Eden Valley, and Watkins PD's?? What were their DWI arrest numbers like for the same time period? We certainly dont expect them to be even close to the bigger agencies mentioned, that is just common sense...but how about some local statistics to keep us informed!

Our house was "hit" a few

Our house was "hit" a few years ago when our daughter was a junior. I didnt mind the toilet paper so much, heck I made my kid clean most of it up. What bothers me is the total lack of respect these kids show. One of the trees they papered was actually my neighbors, not mine. He yelled out his window at them to stop as it was his tree, they yelled back at him that there was nothing he could do. He proceeded to go outside and tell them again to stop. They said they wouldnt and started taunting him and saying that they were underage and he couldnt touch them. They finally took off when he ran at them. He was about 6'2" 275lbs of muscle and that was the only thing they respected....that he was about to kick their butts. To top it off, all this was after midnight on a school night. I am sure they were attentive in class the next day. Pretty sad when these kids dont have the common decency to knock it off when told by an adult.

How sad it was this morning

How sad it was this morning to drop off my 6th grader for her 1st day of school in a new setting for her, only to be disgusted beyond belief at the poor Binsfield's home covered (LITERALLY) in toilet paper... There were comments written on their garage walls, and the whole yard was snow white.. Then after I dropped my daughter off, I proceeded to drive past the Sr High and observed a custodian washing obsenities off the windows of the High School...
What makes the kids think that is funny??? What would posess them to do something so disgraceful, and on the first day of school? I hope someone let's word out of who was involved and they are made to pay for their choices. I understand about Sr, Jr initiations or whatever you call them now a days, but this went to a whole new extreme.
Shame on the individuals involved.
