I had never been in this establishment but I did know Alex and Andrew on a personal level. Personally, they were likable guys and they may have had a nice bar, but just being likable and have a nice business does not necessarily equal success.

I don't believe for a minute that they were unfairly "targeted" or harrassed. Did you ever consider that they may have not been handling their personal lives with integrity?

It applies to anyone---if you do not have integrity within your personal life, it will eventually reflect on your business and all you do.

Just one or two incidents at the bar did not ruin this business.

I just read through all of these comments, and just have to say that Alex and Andrew were NOT as great as people are making them out to be. Now, do I think they should have lost their business, no. However, it's odd that before their business "failed", they spent every Friday and Saturday night at a different establishment, being rude to their staff, and causing problems there. If they wanted their business to thrive, shouldn't they have been in their own bar on the busy nights?

I had never met these 2 men before, didn't even know who they were, and they were EXTREMELY rude to me for no reason. There is no excuse for how they treated me.

I never stepped foot in their bar, I never had any contact with them before or after the incident.

It just frustrates me that they are being talked about like they are such GREAT guys who could do no wrong, when that is NOT the case. I did nothing to provoke how they treated me. It was unacceptable, and I really don't have any use for people that treat others that way.

That's interesting, "were the cops HARASSING the business or the individuals?" Which is worse? If one was caught driving without a license then you would think it was dealt with or that person would not have a license today. How would anyone know whether there was insurance on a vehicle or not. I would think only the individual and law inforcement would know this. If that is acurate I have to question how that info was obtained.

From what I heard from some friends the police were on them if a fight broke out on the property after hours as one fight did. It was way after closing but yet Alex and Andrew were blamed for it. The police will mark someone as a trouble maker if they do not like that person. Alex and Andrew had a fun place but because of a few customers who caused some trouble, they were labled. I think the two men could have alot to say on how they were treated.

Scott did you know that the police was constantly harassing them? Did you? Did you even know that they put up with alot of crap from the police? No I doubt it. They probably have some incidents they could tell the investigatores on how they were treated in this city.

This will be my last post on this topic too.

when I have gone into the club they may of had 6-8 cars outside, but they were full inside. People do car pool, especially if they are going to be drinking and designate one to be their driver. I am that for my friends. I can not count how many time I had gone into the club with 6-8 cars and found it packed and hard to find a place to sit.
Hopefully the two men will not allow the stupidity of a few angry customers to keep them from starting up something else and if or when they do they can count on me as a customer. It is a shame that their business went down hill because of some customers who could not accept the phrase private party.
Any way, there is a new business. The people who own it and run it are very nice people and serve awesome food. Let's hope they do not get the shaft like alex and drew did.

I too am done with this topic. Allow me to apologize to the posters that I may have offended, my intentions were not to do so. Please keep in mind that the written word is up to interpretation. This has been entertaining and I hope that forums like these continue. It's healthy to disagree and I respect and appreciate all for their point of view. I have learned much. Much health and success to the residents of Litchfield. There is a commercial on television that I find very warm. It's the one where people see an act of kindness and it becomes contagious. I was trying to offer unbiased opinions based upon my own observations as well as those made by other people that have posted in this area. I never claimed to be an expert, I clearly stated that I am basing my OPINION on common sense from my perspective. I dont fault you for defending AlAndrews, but you need to take your emotions out of this discussion and think rationally instead of making unfounded accusations of people "casting stones". You need to remember that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it may not agree with yours. If you read back in my earlier postings, I clearly state that my wife and I stopped there once, but they didnt serve food at the time so we went elsewhere. We were looking for someplace to eat, not just drink.

as for running a business...Advertising your business is just plain old common sense. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Dont believe me...open up the Advertiser this weekend and look at all the ads in there for all the other establishments and businesses in town. Matter of fact, look at all the business advertising on this website...several of them flashing at me on the right side of this page...I wonder why?

Please enlighten us... When you started your business there in Litch what was your business plan like? How is it that you've managed to be so successful here in Litch? When it comes to advertising/marketing what demographic did you use? I mean there are seven thousand people there so how did you maximize your potential? No offense it's just that some of the comments are so as a matter of fact when in actuality it's not. I don't have an answer but let's give some substance to these OPINIONS. Litchres you're starting to sound like jollybmb. It's like when my parents told me to do something and I asked "WHY?" and they said "cause I said so". We won't ever get to the bottom of why the bar went away so let's find comfort in examining the possibilities so that others won't make the same mistakes. Litchres you've never met Andrew or Alex so that leads me to believe that you never ventured to their place. Maybe if you took a step and actually visited you may have made two very good friend and have further supported that establishment. You see it can be twisted in so many directions. STOP CASTING STONES...

AlAndrews Lounge has been closed for renovations. What's up with that? They just opened! I used to like going there and I hope they're not going belly up.
