AMB, what is your problem? Are you a friend of Mike Hirman's? Are you a corrupt county official? Are you a corrupt cop? Get off your high horse and quit reading the posts if they bother you so much. Perhaps you should start crying your own river as you may need to get on a boat once the investigation moves forward!! None of this is funny, I do believe that once things are settled around here, there may be several lawsuits filed against Meeker County. Does anyone consider that quite possibly this investigation had something to do with the charges of the violation of the ladies constitutional rights that we have read about recently in the paper? I can see this as being the cause of a FBI investigation myself, essentially because of the nature of the lawsuit being taken through the court system is being brought to.

Friendofsociety, how can you say that you know for a fact that no one in Meeker County will ever go down? I don't see that as a fact but as an assumption. I doubt you are with the FBI. I do not mean to sound sarcastic but I for one do not believe that statement for one minute!

It is obvious that the FBI came to Meeker County for a reason, I know that they were given more than enough evidence to convict our Sheriff. Do you not watch the news? They are starting to take out corrupt law enforcement officers all over this state. Mike Hirman may have thought he was getting away with his corruption, but I am still patiently waiting for the federal office in DC to get the documents in order, signed and returned!!!

You may have friends at the courthouse that can give you some pretty good information but they won't know the outcome of the FBI investigation any sooner than anyone else!!

Very sorry to hear that someone else got a taste of the corruption of the county!

A 69-year-old Dassel man was arrested Thursday after making terroristic threats against the Meeker County Treasurer's Office.

Shortly after noon Thursday, employees from the Treasurer's Office reported that an individual had allegedly made terrorist threats by telephone in regards to his property tax statement. After investigating the call, the Meeker County Sheriff's Department arrested the Dassel man, who is being held in Meeker County Jail pending a court appearance

What does this say meeker county employees are more important than tax payers. Tell me Mike did the 69 year old say he had a big gun in his pants after using viagra? Hey Mike I would dispatch all cops to bars around closing time. You could make a killing in threats at that time.County could make lots of money.I cant believe this lady at the riverside store had a threat against her,and meeker county law scratched there a$$.BS I also understand she had a young gentleman with her.Who was convicted of threats.Looking into this.

It wasn't Litch police, it was a Meeker deputy who came out and investigated! We are in Forest City, so it is County.. Either way, the Woman who owns it now should of purchased a tin of vasoline when she rented to those freaks.. Damage beyond imagination, threats at court, documents, and NOTHING...
Does this say something else about the situation??? Where is the vindication for the innocent???

Hey did the independent review do a story on how are local police department watched a house be destroyed and threats to lives. I even heard that there were terroristic threats. They even had the court house alarm go off. I bet if it was a county employee they would have did something. Guess what were just normal people with jobs. To the people at riverside store iam sorry, our local police like to watch . Maybe some day they will help. My house is for sale in this county i cant wait to get out. Hey iam happy to see our local paper posted blues baseball game delayed. Wow wow how I will sleep

Kids and adults out there. First of all I know for a fact that no one in Meeker county will ever go down. I care about a better world for my kids and all people. I would love to give more facts but it will put people in danger. But I do have this to say.I would love to see the independet review to investigate a crime ,damage,and threats . While the sheriffs department did nothing, and also our county attorneys office last week. Call the riverside store for facts. A county worker from the court house told me this story.

well jim dandy(adams) I just spoke with whom I know in Willmar the only man I know in willmar Dect.Larry Peart of Peart & Assoc. and he says NO WAY if he was a FBI agent he would have been forced into retirement at 55 he is 68yrs old.He told me to ask you "What have you been smoking"so again more info given to cause no trust here. you should stop with your slandering remarks about me you are posting them to the public and it could affect me. Much like the rest of the guilty employee's of the county has already done.not only that but the info he got from me went to another county so you dont know anything that I have provided but I know action was taken because some of it I read about in the IR.So once again there Jim did you help discredit Deputy Pace?
