Hey how about going to both. I mean they each have something GREAT so we try to get to both.
I meet people from out of Litchfield who come here for the lovely histioric downtown. They really like both places. In fact some come here just to eat at Mainstreet and some come to eat at Park View.

We like the shakes and shrimp burgers at Parkview and the old fashioned dinners at Mainstreet. Our kids like the breakfast at Main Street and the burgers at Park View. So in one day we can hit both!!! Oh and you can catch a movie on a really big screen for an affordable price to boot. Then get a coffee or hot chocolate at Nicolas afterwards.
Gotta love Litchfield.

Main Street Cafe is better, they make their food homemade too and you get better service and quality such as quanity :) I was never impressed with Park View. Ron Markovich the guy who owns Main Street has been there for 18 years so that has to say something about this place. Main Street also has a cake and coffee hour you can go there between 2 and 4 pm aand have homemade cakes and coffee for just 99 cents. We go there all the time and sit at table 5 the big round table. Come join us its a blast at Main Street! Sometimes Ron plays his banjo for us :)

Parkview Cafe

This cafe has the best burgers and homemade pies in town! If you like home cooking, I highly recommend this quaint, little cafe.
