Update: This man was incorrectly identified in a LPD news release as a Litchfield resident. He actually has a Hutchinson address and was charged in Meeker County District Court Feb. 8 with fleeing a peace officer, domestic assault and driving while intoxicated. The fleeing a peace officer is a felony charge; the other two are misdemeanors.

Litchfield Police arrested a 36-year-old Litchfield man with domestic assault and fleeing a peace officer after a Friday morning incident.

Litchfield Police were called to a South Gorman Avenue residence at 5:45 a.m. for a possible domestic. Upon the officer’s arrival, the man came out of the residence and left the scene in a vehicle, Chief Patrick Fank said.
