I was referring more specifically to the short section of CSAH 34 between Minnesota Highway 24 and U.S. Highway 12. To me, that seems part-country, part-city because of the development toward U.S. Highway 12.

It kind of reminds me of McLeod County Road 115 coming into Hutchinson from the west. (It was the detour when construction was on 7). There are a lot of entries to the highway, so you have to be careful even though the posted limit is 55.

Unless otherwise posted, the speed limit is 55. Curious why you guys feel it is a slow road? I drive it frequently also and think it is pretty straight and open except for the big S curves. I have no problem driving 55 except those curves, excp;et during harvest season when all roads become a hazard with combines etc.

Kristen, I think it is 55. I also drive that road a lot but while on it I rarely get up to 55. Jim J

One road I wonder about is CSAH 34, which runs north-south in eastern Litchfield. Does anyone know what the speed limit is on that road? I feel weird driving it faster than 45, but with no posted signs, it must be 55.
