Terry Ryan bids adieu

Twins General Manager Terry Ryan stepped down today after 13 years in that role. Ryan will officially hand over the reigns of Twins to new GM Bill Smith Oct. 1. Ryan, who helped make the Twins a contending team with his shrewd personnel moves, will remain with the club as a senior adviser and focus his time on scouting.

What does this mean for the Twins of the future? Will they keep Torii Hunter and Johan Santana or build anew with their young players? Looking into your crystal ball, what can we expect for the Twins of 2008?
